Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Crisper AI, operated by Ashton Ryan and Zavier Darcy ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
By downloading, installing or using Crisper AI you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms.
If you are between 13 and 17, you confirm that a parent or guardian knows you are using the App and, where the law of your country requires it, has consented on your behalf. See section 4 for how the App treats under-18 accounts.
Crisper AI is a nutrition and meal-tracking app. It lets you log meals, track macronutrients, set goals, scan food and barcodes, record weight, water and activity, and generate meal suggestions, recipes and shopping lists. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
Crisper AI is a general wellness and tracking tool. Its calorie targets, macro calculations, meal suggestions, recipes and nutrition data are for informational purposes only and are not medical or dietary advice. They are not a substitute for a doctor, dietitian or other qualified professional.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant changes to how you eat or exercise, and especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, managing a medical condition, taking medication, or have any history of disordered eating.
If you are struggling with your relationship with food, please seek professional support. A calorie-tracking app can make that harder rather than easier, and no number this App shows you is worth your health.
The App will not put anyone under 18 into a calorie deficit. If you are under 18 and select a fat-loss goal, your target is raised to your estimated maintenance level instead. Goals that involve eating more are unaffected. This is a deliberate limit and cannot be turned off.
Food recognition, nutrition estimates, recipes and insights in this App are produced by an artificial intelligence model. You need to understand what that means before relying on any of it.
Barcode results come from a third-party product database (see section 9) and are generally more reliable than photo estimates, but are not guaranteed either.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us immediately at crisperaiapp@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not share your account, or transfer it to anyone else.
You keep ownership of what you put into the App — your logs, your custom meals, your shopping lists and your notes. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store that content and show it back to you, and to sync it between your own devices. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not publish it.
Photos are handled differently, and it matters: a photo you scan is sent to our AI provider for analysis and then discarded. We do not store your photos, so there is nothing for you to license to us. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.
You agree not to submit content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes anyone else's rights.

Our AI processing costs real money per request. Abusing it is a breach of these Terms and we may suspend or terminate your access without notice.
The App relies on third-party services, including an AI provider, cloud hosting, an authentication and database provider, a subscription manager, and Open Food Facts for barcode product lookups. Open Food Facts is an independent, community-maintained database: its entries may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and we do not control it.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or availability of third-party data or services. The providers we use are listed in the Privacy Policy.
Paid subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms. We never receive your card details.
We may add, change or remove features, and we may need to suspend the service for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. The App depends on internet connectivity and on third-party services, and AI features will not work offline. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The App, including the name "Crisper AI", the logo, the design and the software, is owned by Ashton Ryan and Zavier Darcy and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the App — nothing more.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that nutrition data, AI estimates or third-party product data will be accurate or complete.
You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account in the App, or by emailing us. Deletion is immediate — your account and all associated data are removed in a single operation, not on a 30-day timer.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, including the acceptable-use rules in section 8.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ashton Ryan and Zavier Darcy are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the App, including any decision you make about your diet, health or exercise based on information the App provides.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top and, for anything that materially affects you, tell you in the App. Continuing to use Crisper AI after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
